Iconic sounds connected with the genre

Punching sounds:

These sounds are played when the person hits someone. This sound tells us that someone got punched hard and it adds to the fighting atmosphere and is definitely a sound effect we should use.

Certfcate Ratings BBFC

BBFC stands for the British Board of Film Classification and there in charge of certifying each film, DVD, or video games in the UK. And these are the categories that it all falls under.

A ‘U’ film is suitable for audiences aged four and over. It must not have any discrimination, no reference to illegal trugs unless for educational purposes or a anti drug message which should be suitable for children. Only mild horror scenes  but must not cause any anxiety to young children and the outcome should be reassuring. No dangerous behavior and the bad language should be very mild. No nudity and mild sexual content, only things like kissing. And mild violence only.

A ‘PG’ film should be suitable for children 8 around or older, but parents are advised to think if it might upset younger or more sensitive children. No discrimination unless its clearly disapproved of. No illegal drugs or drug miss use unless to make an anti drug message. Fighting scenes should not be intense and only mild bad language. No sexual content but natural nudity is accepted. Mild sex references only and moderate violence is allowed.

The material in a '12' film should be suitable for people only aged 12 or over. If the rating is a '12A' then that means its for people aged 12 or over but if your parents think that it is appropriate and suitable for you to watch and you have to have your parent with you when going to the cinema to watch it. Discrimination should not be permitted and any drug miss use should not be instructional or very glamored. Reasonable threat is accepted but no disturbing scenes. Dangerous behavior should not be shown in detail so that it could not be copied. Moderate language is allowed but words suck as 'fuck' should not be used often. Nudity is allowed but the sexual content should be very brief. They should show no importance in injury or blood, and everything has to be suitable for teenagers.

No one younger than 15 can buy or watch a movie rated 15. It must not endorse discriminative language or behavior. Drugs may be used but they must not encourage drug misuse, but it must not include highly illegal drugs. Strong threat is accepted but it must not be sexual or anything. Dangerous behavior ( like suicide, hanging or self harm)shown should be hard to copy and it must not advertise any easily accessible weapons. Frequent use of strong language is accepted. Nudity is allowed but without detail and there are no limits on nudity for educational purposes. Sexual activity may be accepted but without detail. Strong violence is accepted but it should not focus on pain or injury.

No one under 18 can rent or watch these movies. The content must not contain anything that can be a risk or can harm people through their behavior, or if the material is a breach of the criminal law or even really explicit images of sexual activity. Anything else may be shown in an '18' movie.

We think our movie is will be a rated '15'. This is because our movie involves fighting and physical violence, but it doesn't contain any strong language or dangerous behavior. We think that because of the violence the film is only suitable for mature audiences who will not start to fighting in the streets. Also 'Never Back Down' which has a similar genre and story like was rated a '15' therefore we think that out movie should also be rated a '15'
