Here is the final piece of work for our A-Level media. This took us appriximately 1 week to film and around a week to 3 weeks to edit. Eventually after around a month we had our finished piece of work. We filmed all clips relatively easily and then we started piecing it together we had noticed that it was more of a trailer than an opening sequence. Therefore spent time re edited it to get this final piece of work.

Evaluation 7
Here is our prelimary task. We did this task to try and use continuity and find errors in our work. We also used this to make our final piece of work better and to get ideas for our final piece of work.
here is our final piece of work. We got various ideas throughout the production of the piece of media however not many ideas came from the preliminary task. However some mistakes were noticed in the preliminary task such as when Junuz opens the door he used his left hand, however when we are in the room he has opened it with his right.
Therefore that is a continuity error, this was not noticed until we had finished the piece of work. This helped us out when doign the final piece of work as we did not film it in different clips we filmed it all at once and then edited together. For e.g. when he puts the gloves on, he puts them on then another clip appears and then he is putting the gloves on again, put it is nice and smooth as it was all one clip, just edited down.

Here you can see a range of different programs, equipment etc we used.
YouTube: To look at other opening sequences and research different effects and ways we can make ours better and to a higher quality than everyone else.
Blogger: This was the most important website that we used as we posted all of our work that we had created/were making, on the blog, including recent updates. We were also able to come back to the blog, log in and edit any posts we had created, so that if we had made any mistakes or accidentally posted something we didn't need to we could remove or delete it of the blog.
Google: We used Google to perform a lot of the searches we performed. For e.g. we would Google films that we want to relate our film too. This enabled us to look through some trailers/opening sequences/clips from the film/media texts etc. This was perfect when researching as it was easy but such a wide range of results that we got back from the searches.
Photoshop: We had to create a lot of graphics our self for e.g. at the press conference what you can see in the background we had created in Photoshop earlier before. This was then put on the big screen to make it look as if it was real. We also used Photoshop to create nine still frames etc...
Premiere: Without premiere we would not of been able to piece together all of our clips that we have filmed and put it into the movie we created. We used Premiere to piece together, to edit, add effects, crop, cut etc...
Firefox: We used Firefox as our browser as it is fast and works well on the Macs.
Equipment: We used a standard camera that you can buy in the shops and a tripod to keep the filming nice and steady. This enabled us to film what we wanted and keep the shot still making it look more professional and all together tidier.

Evaluation 5
We used YouTube to get our video out to the wider world. This is good as it is free and easy but also Guarantees views. If you promote your video in the right way you are able to reach millions of viewers. In order to do so you need to make sure that your video has tags that will bring people to your video.
Here you can see the video on YouTube.com. You can see the use of tags at the bottom and also the use of annotations on screen. We used Tags to attract more attention, meaning when people search for certain things it may bring them to this video. Also the use of annotations to add messages onto the video that we want people to see over the original video.

We promoted the video through twitter. We did so by posting the link on each member of the teams twitter and got as many as possible people to watch it and re-tweet about it. We would have hoped to of got more people involved with the video however not many people re-tweeted about it.
Very similar to what we did with twitter we got everyone to put it on their walls and tried to get as many people as possible to watch it. In order to get as many people as possible we wanted people to re-post the link on their own wall to spread the link as far as possible.
